Cast the PPZ Movie

I think Richard E Grant would make a fabulous Darcy :)

Well! This should be the most interesting & highly different zombie movie I've seen in a dog's age! As well as the only romance I've payed to see on the big screen in a good 15 years. As for the actors; I am not familiar with any Hollywood celebrities who were not already acting before 1997, which is when I eccentially stopped watching movies in general. If it should come out the same year as the movie addaption of American McGee's Alice, it will be the best thing ever!

I would personally prefur some actor I was familiar with to play Darcy, but outside of Johnny Depp, anyone I might suggest would be too old by now. It would be wonderful it was David Bowie though. I think I'd prefur an all-English cast to avoid overtly fake accents.

Here's my cast:

Darcy: JASON STATHAM. Bad ass mudda who can kill zombies and had great comedic timing ("Snatch").

Lady Catherine De Bourgh: DIANA RIGG. Used to be a bad ass; spies are also snooty by nature.

Charlotte Lucas: DREW BARRYMORE. She'd make a great zombie; if you're worried about the accent don't forget this is a zombie movie.

Wickham: HUGH JACKMAN. Wolverine is kinda a jerk, so is Hugh.

Mr. Collins: NICK FROST. (Simon Pegg's friend/costar). He needs work.

Jane Bennet: UMA THURMAN. Why not? She's hot, especially with a sword.

Mr. Bennet: BILL NIGHY. He's played almost the same character before, and he's been in zombie comedies before also.

Mrs. Bennet: EMMA THOMPSON. She's done Austen before.

Mr. Bingley: HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN. He's worked with Natalie before on some 'B' movie scifi projects, he needs the work, and he's a tool.

I love that Natalie Portman is cast in the film and feel she will do a phenonmenal job in the role. It is easy to visualize a number of actors in the film, however, I feel James Franco, Simon Pegg, and Rashida Jones would all be excellent in some capacity. I cannot wait to hear more about the casting of PPZ.

I think the perfect Mr. Darcy would be Gerard Butler.

Mr. Darcy - Dylan Moran he can do the arrogant awkward thing beautifully

Bingley - Simon Pegg bumbles and has excellent onscreen chemistry with Moran

Wickham - Dan Clark he's in a show call How Not to Live your Life.. brilliant he's a good fit.

Mr & Mrs. Bennet- Catherine Tate and David Tennant, slap some gray draw in a few wrinkles perfect. These two have excellent onscreen chemistry.

Jane - Emma Rigby (she can do gracious and could do the part justice-ish)
